I just got the contents of this tube finally framed. It’s been almost 4 years so when I saw the packaging I couldn’t help but laugh. I’d accidently left it on the Shinkansen (bullet train) and figured it was gone for good. Not so in Japan, they’ve got this national lost and found system and a train worker found it and just turned it in. I gave them a call, went up to the station at the end of the line and picked it up. I can’t imagine that happening in the U.S. Oh and yes those straight looking symbols in the middle are my name.

Love the map, love the tube and stamps even better. All those layers of tidbits of design goodness.
