Found in supposedly empty equipment

Apparently they just tossed this package Mark Bixby sent me in a random mail truck and some guy found it a few weeks later.

I’m planning on using the contents to perform a little SX-70 modification. Thanks again Mark!

Haha, can’t say I’ve ever seen that label before. Way to go, USPS.

I’ve been meaning to pick up another SX-70 and try out some of the mods you’ve mentioned. Mine broke during the cross-country trip with Miss Cindy Li.

Finally! That is the weirdest USPS label ever… Glad you got it though. :D

The label made me laugh!

As an aside, 41 cents is not nearly enough postage these days for a package! Guess they let that slide…

@lnoteboom Well, maybe they just had pity on the package!

A friend of mine received a letter from me with this stamped on it “twice!” It’s bad enough once, but twice!!! I am surprised they even admit this sort of thing so openly. I see this a plain out laziness. No wonder the post office is in trouble! This is not the first time I’ve had problems with them over the years.

Gosh if all the folks who have had problems with the Post Office in general got together and had a convention my guess it would be one of the biggest in the world.
