@youngdoo Thanks! No, you can’t open the .nef files in Lightroom yet unfortunately (at least not that I know of). I’m assuming they’ll provide support soon though. I actually use Bridge and there’s a beta camera raw plugin out now for both Bridge and Photoshop that I’ve been using.

You can open nef in LR. I live in LR 98% of the time for my nikon workflow.

@andyciordia Are you shooting with a D90? The changed the format and so you’re not able to open the D90 .nef files until they release an update.

Oh for real? My apologies, I wonder if the new D300 firmware is going to shift that too. I think I’ll hold off if I know my workflow is gonna get halted. Thanks for the heads up.

@andyciordia No worries! It was definitely an adjustment for me when I bought the camera. I was annoyed I couldn’t edit my files in Bridge but I just chalked it up to buying the bleeding edge.
