@martinjy Similar, this was taken using a 50mm and at 1.4 and not 1.8. I do like that new 35mm but I’m hoping they come out with an FX version and at 1.4. I’m still shooting with a DX camera (my D90) but I hope to upgrade to a full frame camera someday and so I’ve been trying to buy lenses that I can use with those cameras in the future.

Just saw that Nikon have released a new prime lens aimed squarely at the budget user (D40, D60 etc). AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G. Not the same lens but very similar, yes?
