Straight to print

Straight to print

Canon AE-1 + BW400CN

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been trying to get a good collection of portraits of my friends for the fridge, so I’ve got some good memories surrounding me in my new place. I’ve already screwed up one more expensive roll, and this was the second.

Unfortunately, after some hiccups with loading a roll, I thought I’d messed it up so I ran around the neighborhood yesterday shooting random stuff just in case in came out. Luckily the roll did, and within an hour Bartells had my prints. It’s not true black and white film, but I like the shades of grey and hints of blue in it. It was cheap and quick to print which for this was exactly what I wanted.

I think I’m good now, so I’ve got another one loaded and hopefully I’ll be able to catch a few more smiling faces before I head down to California.
