my growing jazz/funk selection. i like late 1960’s Blue Note stuff, Grant Green, Lou Donaldson, Jimmy McGriff, any record with idris muhammad on drums - not all out funk but when jazz was getting funky. any other suggestions?
Yusef Lateef? I really enjoy him. It’s a shame he’s not more widely recognized… in turn, vinyl may prove to be a difficult find in the Netherlands. Art Blakey? Charles Mingus?
