@ meltdown etc. there’s no soda fountain. Just bottles and bottles of drinks. Of course the Coke caught my eye.

When I opened it up, I realized it tasted… different. Hey… how come it says “refresco” on it?! Oh hey! So yeah, it’s the Coke from Mexico. i.e. the coke with straight-up cane sugar and no funny high fructose corn syrup.

I’m so used to the hfcs version that this surprised me and took a minute to get used to, but I like it. Still: I’m not used to that much sugar (there’s still 1/3 of the bottle left) and within an hour: I was crashing hard. Been pounding water since lunch. Heh.
