Okay, Polaroid friends, question: when you scan your Polaroids (or “Polas” as the kids say), do you scan at a redonkulously hi DPI? or do you scan low-res just for posting to the Internets? Or what? spill!
I’ve got a decent system at the office (Dual 2GHz G5 w/ 5GBRAM), so not too horrendously long. The fun part is waiting for those to print on the Epson plotter at like 2000dpi. Awesomeness in waiting.

400 dpi for me.
I LOVE THIS.

superhirez. i make 20x20 prints ($10, costco) and frame them ($25, ikea).

16bit color, 4800dpi, at actual size. results in a 12000x12000 pixel image. i scan that hi-res to make retouching any dust easy.
plus, 20in x 20in @ 400dpi = 8000 px.
files end up about 600mb

I tend to start each day off w/ a tall glass of fresh OJ
