RCA Victor

RCA Victor

An underdash RCA Victor AM radio. I’m not sure where this little gem came from … I may have picked it up a garage sale or scooped it out of one of my uncle’s sheds on his farm in Saskatchewan. For the time being, I’m holding on to this wonderful metal beasty.

Is that an auto-seeking AM? Had one in my old 240Z (‘72). Push the button, the red bar would seek from side to side trying to find a decent station.

no way. This is excellent. Actually looking for a Sapphire radio for the 71 bus. Pretty sure that i need a XIV or XV.

This guy has quite the nice collection.

That, and a proper clock on The Samba com

@dangerousmeta There’s nothing “auto” about this radio, other than it came out of one. I do remember the autoseek tuning on a radio in a friend’s mom’s Cadillac back in the 70s, though.

@luxuryluke Ooh, nice.

@dotsara I should really clean this guy up and use him in the workshop.
