Another from Dog Mountain, this time with the Hasselblad. What a wonderland that forest was. In looking at the images I have from that hike, I can still feel the peace and deep happiness that comes from journeying through such a place, where the damp quiet muffles any emotion carried over from the rest of the world, where wild things soothe the head and heart. A forest like that will keep your secrets and offer up its own, if you only pause long enough to breathe it in.
