Ok, so yeah, I had this idea. I was pretty nervous about it. As soon as I saw the bridge (about 100 ft over the rainforest), I knew I wanted to do a running fedora shot. The thing is, I also knew I had one shot at it. The wind was strong enough and the bridge narrow enough that I knew I would lose my precious lid.

Although not technically a selfie, I did show my friend Jim exactly what I wanted. We did 3 runthroughs before the show. He performed admirably despite my neurotic demands.
