Subway Map of Lower Manhatten

I got to spend some time last week in the, hell, I feel like whatever I write will sound like a cliche when talking about New York, I mean, what the “Big Apple”? I heart NY. Sigh. Regardless, it was a blast. I saw some great old friends from Japan, some who were in town for a web conference, met a few new ones, and others who seemed to have followed me. I went to a Knicks game, traversed to the top of the Empire State Building and took a few shots of an eerily abandoned amusement park. The subways carried me through my travels and when I needed to refuel I found the hotdogs quite tasty.

A huge thanks to Crystal and Garrett for housing me. I don’t know how you two live there but damn was it great place to visit.
My couch is yours if you ever need a place to stay in Seattle. And to those of you who’ve never been to the city they call New York—do it. I’m embarrassed it’s taken me this long to visit.

Good seeing you at FOWD…although we didn’t get to chat much. I had a cold so I left the party pretty early.

It was my first NYC visit also…I was blown away. I it wasn’t for the cold weather I’d live there for sure. So much energy!

About T Incorporated

T Incorporated is me, Tom Watson, online. It’s a bit of a throwback to personal websites, something I believe were, and still are, the cornerstones of the original social network: the Internet. I’ve been publishing online since 2001 but have lost much of that work to the digital dustbin. What you will find here is all that is left.
